Architecture

How settlement, execution and app-chains fit together in a modular network.

STRAT Network is a modular blockchain ecosystem: many independent chains, all interconnected. Instead of one chain that every application competes for, each project can run on its own EVM chain while still sharing security and communicating with the rest of the network.

Layers

Layer-0 · settlement

The base layer every chain settles to. It is what makes the network one network: chains built on it inherit its security from day one and use it as the common ground for moving messages and assets between each other.

Execution

Each chain runs its own EVM with dedicated throughput and gas economics. One busy application cannot slow down the others, and each chain can be configured for its own use case.

App-chains

The chains projects actually deploy on. Because they are EVM-compatible, existing Solidity contracts, wallets and developer tools work without changes.

Core properties

  • Independent execution — every chain has its own capacity and fee market.
  • Native messaging — contracts and assets move between STRAT chains without relying on third-party bridges.
  • Shared security — all chains settle to the same Layer-0.
  • Modular configuration — chains are assembled from tested modules (execution, data availability, bridging, governance) rather than built from scratch.
