Getting started
Ecosystem
How STRAT relates to Ethereum and Base, and how the project directory works.
Every STRAT chain is EVM-compatible. That means STRAT does not start from zero: the contracts, wallets, developer tools and know-how built around Ethereum and its L2s such as Base are directly relevant to anyone building on a STRAT chain.
Ethereum, Base and STRAT
- Ethereum is where the EVM standard, Solidity and most of today's DeFi primitives were born.
- Base is an Ethereum L2 with a fast-growing on-chain economy built on the same EVM tooling.
- STRAT lets teams launch their own EVM chain, connected to every other STRAT chain — so patterns proven on Ethereum and Base can be deployed on a dedicated chain.
The project directory
The ecosystem directory lists 36 leading Ethereum and Base projects across DeFi, aggregators, infrastructure, wallets, bridges, developer tools, oracles and cross-chain messaging, with links to their official websites and X accounts. You can filter by network and category, or search.
Categories
- DeFi — exchanges, lending, staking and stablecoins.
- Aggregators — route trades across many liquidity sources for better prices.
- Infrastructure — node access, indexing, naming and shared services.
- Wallets — self-custodial and smart-account wallets.
- Bridges — move assets between chains.
- Developer Tools — build, test, audit and monitor smart contracts.
- Oracles — bring prices and other off-chain data on-chain.
- Cross-chain — general message passing between chains.
Get your project listed
Building on or for STRAT? Submit your project through the application form. Once the network is live, STRAT-native projects will be listed alongside the reference directory.
